Christi Baeuerle Band:

Nominated BEST ROCK ARTIST at LA Music Awards...their cover of "WAR" opens CBS's Family Law for final 2 season...AND, the band is featured as AOL's ARTIST OF THE WEEK

 

The Christi Baeuerle sound is most notably recognized for her version of the Edwin Starr classic, "War," which aired every Monday night for two seasons as the theme song for the hit TV show "Family Law" on CBS. "War" can be found on Christi's self-titled debut album released independently last year. She is recognized as AOL's ARTIST OF THE WEEK for November 2002. Most recently, Christi was offered a spot to Showcase at the Nashville Music Conference, which will host industry reps from all around the world. The Christi B Band sounds is catching on as the cds have been selling throughout the US and Europe and is gaining heavy rotation on radio stations such as; Pirate Radio - The X (KPRX 105.1FM) in eastern Oklahoma, and on THE NOTCH WMTK 106.3FM in Littleton, NH on the radio show "THE STUDIO". Her songs are being featured on internet radio sites including Pulverradio.com and Neverending Radio. Recently Christi’s music has been added in radio rotation with mainstream artist’s on FRESH BLEND RADIO. Her first song to air "I Need Your Love went from #73 in her first week, to blowing by artists like Creed, Mariah Carey, and Michelle Branch, and moving to number 11 in just her second week.

Though the Christi Baeuerle Band is independently produced, the sound of her self-titled CD (co-written and co-produced by Christi with song writer/producer/sound engineer, Tom Fletcher as well as other writers) has not gone unnoticed. You can find Christi B songs on several compilation CD's, her music is circulating the college circuit nationally on Vertical Sound, as well as the record industry itself thanks to Mike Galaxy's BAND PROMOTE. Her song "Love Me" has already been reproduced as a dance mix in Sacramento and is being promoted around the Capital City circuit.

In 1999, she was nominated as "Best Rock Artist" at the Los Angeles Music Awards and has been voted as one of the "Top 100 Unsigned Artists in Los Angeles. She has received high accolades from numerous music reviewers at publications such as LA Times, Music Connection, Rock City News, etc. She is a regular performer in the Los Angeles circuit at the Roxy, The Whisky, The Troubadour, and has even performed on the main stage at the House of Blues and many other famous venues in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Las Vegas. She has also performed the National Anthem at the International Mercedes Cup Tennis Tournament three years in a row.

Separately, Christi is refined an acoustic show for a Los Angeles circuit that toured the House of Blues, Galaxy Theater and the Key Club. Her music is being used in the independent film's "Mirror Man", "Fish in a Barrel" and "Big Shot's" which will be seen in most of this years film festivals. Christi is playing the part of Linda in the film "Fish in a Barrel".

Christi Baeuerle was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She started performing at the ripe age of four, and her passion has always been to be an entertainer. Before her teens, unlike other girls, she would spend hours at a time locked in her room writing, recording, and singing to her favorite songs. As a teenager she won and competed in several state and county talent competitions.

Next she moved to Miami where she got involved in television and film projects like "Lawless", "Striptease", "Saved By The Light", "Gone Fishing", "Something About Mary", "Pensacola", and many more. She eventually made her way on to Star Search and was a finalist in the spokes model competition.

Tom Fletcher: Music Producer, engineer, mixer, songwriter, musician; Tom has been working in the field of music all his life. He was born in a family of musicians and began engineering at the age of 14. He came to Los Angeles when he was 20 years old and has worked on at least 200 projects and is involved in creating music in every form. Tom has worked with just about everybody you can possibly imagine. Call him a visionary, but Tom craves to create new music for the masses and always seems to be one step ahead. He believes that CHRISTI BAEUERLE is the band that will create a new field of music that has been missing up to this point. Tom feels that the prolific, insightful, and heartfelt lyrics of Christi Baeuerle and the great rhythm and melodies of the music make for an incredible combination. "Check it out yourself!"
